Word Cloud

Generate a visual word cloud from any text.

100% local processing. Your data never leaves your computer

About this tool

The Word Cloud generator analyzes a text, counts the frequency of each word, and creates a graphic visualization where more frequent words appear larger and more prominent. Paste any text, adjust the maximum number of words shown, and choose a color palette; the cloud is generated automatically and can be downloaded as a PNG image.

To use it, paste the text in the input area — a few paragraphs at minimum is recommended for an interesting cloud. Adjust the "Max words" slider between 10 and 100 to control the density of the visualization. Select one of four palettes (Ocean, Sunset, Forest, Neon) and the cloud updates in real time. The regenerate button redistributes the words to different positions while keeping the same sizes. The download button saves the image in high resolution (2x canvas).

Very common words like articles and prepositions are filtered out automatically so the result reflects the actual thematic vocabulary of the text. The tool is used by teachers to visualize the main themes of a set of texts, by marketing professionals to identify words most mentioned in customer reviews, by journalists to visually summarize speeches and documents, and by content creators to generate thematic artwork.

All generation is done locally in the browser using the HTML Canvas API. The text is never sent to servers. The tool is free, requires no sign-up, and works on any modern device.
