Split PDF

Split PDF lets you extract specific pages from a document and save them as a new file. Instead of sharing an entire PDF, you pick exactly which pages to keep.

Usage is straightforward: upload the PDF and wait while the tool reads the page count. Then type the pages you want to extract into the text field — you can enter individual pages separated by commas (e.g. "2, 5, 8") or ranges using a hyphen (e.g. "3-7"). Combinations work too, such as "1-3, 5, 9-12". Click "Extract and download" to generate the new document.

This kind of tool comes in handy in many everyday situations: extracting a specific chapter from a PDF book, pulling out the signed pages from a long contract, isolating tables or attachments that need to be sent separately, or simply trimming a large file to share only the relevant part.

The entire process runs in your browser using the pdf-lib library. Not a single byte of your file is transmitted over the internet — the PDF you load stays on your device and the output file is generated locally. No account, browser extension, or access permission is needed.
