About this tool
PDF to Image converts each page of a PDF into an individual image file, in JPG or PNG format. The output can be downloaded page by page or as a ZIP archive containing all images at once.
To use it, upload the PDF and choose your output settings: the format (JPG or PNG), the quality level (for JPG, from 50% to 100%), and the rendering scale — 1x equals 72 DPI, 2x equals 144 DPI, and 3x equals 216 DPI. Once configured, click convert. Pages are processed in sequence and displayed as thumbnails as they are ready. You can zoom into any page by clicking its thumbnail, or download everything at once as a ZIP.
This conversion is useful in many practical situations: extracting a specific page as an image to use in a presentation or Word document, converting PDF slides or infographics to post on social media, generating high-resolution images for printing from vector PDFs, or simply viewing PDF content in tools that only accept images.
Rendering uses the pdfjs-dist library directly in the browser. No page of your PDF is sent to external servers — everything happens locally, without any upload, account, or data storage. The ZIP file is also generated in the browser itself.
